Hey guys hows it going. I used Magic DVD Ripper to rip my movie Heat. It took over 8 hours for it to do it but it did do it. It seems rather huge though it is 1.52 GB is that right or can I get it smaller without lose of quality ?? Thanx for the replys

  2. file size = bitrate * running time

Use a lower bitrate to get a smaller file.

What codec? DivX/XviD? ~1000 kbps. mpg? ~not less than 4000 kbps

  6. Use Target Quantizer encoding. Pick the quality (quantizer) you want. The video will get exactly the right bitrate at every frame to deliver that quality.
