    Hi everyone

I usually use AUTOGK for convertions as I find it useful doing the stuff on its own (i'm not too literate on conversions and encodings)

however, I recently captured some vhs tapes at a 768x576 resolution and i'm reaally happy about the result (captured with xvid @ quality set to 1.00)

but now the file size is too large...

I'm trying to reduce it with autogk but at this resolution (768x576) it fails and states 'can't open avi file' in the log, after some pass/scanning. with lower resolution like 640x480 it works fine

any idea why? I tried both xvid and divx setting in AutoGK. the divx fails instantely, and xvid fails after some passes (at 2nd pass?)

    cheers
