I've been trying to convert a few VOB files to AVI with Vdubmod. But the output video and audio is all muddled up like this.

Anyone know how to fix this, or a better application that can do the job?

Yes that is what the preview looks like as well.

I have tried two different types of compression

XviD Mpeg-4 Codec and Panasonic DV Codec

  4. If the preview looks like that then the output will look like it too, no matter what codec you use. It looks like your source is corrupt. You might try VirtualDubMPEG2 and see if that does any better. Does the VOB look like that when you play it with a media player?
