Just bought a 22" monitor with both DVI-D and D-sub connections. Will going DVI-D on my video card to DVI-D on my monitor give me any better picure/performance than using the standard D-Sub connection (normal VGA type).

DVI-D is digital. VGA is analog. It would depend on your monitor and your video card, but I would use DVI-D if you have the same DVI connecton on both devices. A little more info: http://ecoustics-cnet.com.com/4520-3...ecoustics-cnet
Thanks. Just out of principle I'll buy a cable.
