How do I compress a large .FLV file to a smaller .FLV file

I am wondering if anyone here can tell me how to compress a big .FLV file to a smaller .FLV file I have tried flash video encoder that comes with flash 8 for some reason when I try and use this it flips the videos upside down Vertically and it also makes them backwards horizontally

P.S. If any one knows of any freeware that could do this it would be greatly appreciated .

Man, is that gonna look like crap. Even worse, you'll prolly have A/V sync issues.

1) Download Mplayer/Mencoder http://tirnanog.fate.jp/mirror/mplayer/mplayer2007.07.20.7z

2) Download the Cmd file and place in same folder as Mencoder.

(right click to save)

flv_recompress.cmd

3) Place FLV files in same folder

4) Double click cmd file to process
