  1. Hi. I have recently reinstalled my windows XP and reinstalled all my video codecs, specifically K-lite codecs. I have never had this problem before but since the new reinstall, my video playback with my DVDs and DVD iso images I get the closed caption texts. Now I have checked all my subtitle options about this but I can't seem to find any solution for this annoyance. Did anyone have this problem before? I just can't seem to watch any DVDs or an iso file without the damn texts. Help!!

    Questions:

--- what video player are you using?

--- what is the filter you chose for displaying the subtitles?

Notes: K-Lite Codec Pack is not bad, as long as you do *not*
go on a full-install. And please, do not post BMPs anymore!
(convert them to GIF, JPG or PNG next time).
