    Hello all,

Please can someone advise a "noob". I am using Vegas 7 and am trying to burn a DVD with footage captured in AVCHD. Keep getting the following error message

The estimated file size is too large for the CDR. Try changing your render settings or a larger capacity CDR disc.

have played with the render settings but so far to no avail.

would be happy to convert footage from HD to SD, if poss after i have edited my footage in vegas?

I am using a SD DVD to burn onto. Do I heed a HD/Blueray disc?

Please help a noob, thanks for you time and for reading my post

What render settings are you using? How many minutes are you trying to store on the dvd? Lower the video bitrate and you can store more minutes /dvd.

And are you making a standard dvd-video in vegas?
And are you sure you are using dvds....it says cdr...but it could be a wrong error message from vegas though.
