    Hi,

I used BeSweet (BeLight GUI) to encode MP3 sound (which was extracted from an AVI video) to AC3, and then multiplexed the sound with the m2v video (using TMPGenc).

When playing the DVD in the DVD player in my PC the sound is OK, but when playing the DVD in my DVD player connected to my TV there is no sound?!?

I then tried ffmpeg (using the same bitrate, 256) and then the sound was OK even in my DVD player connected to my TV.

Do anyone have any clue on what the problem might be when using BeSweet?
(My DVD player is an old Pioneer DV-454)

BeSweet doesn't produce compatible AC-3 files. I use Audacity to convert MP3 to .WAV, then the TMPGEnc plug-in to convert .WAV to AC-3.
