  1. Hi everybody!!!

Well, using the Logoaway filter by Krzysztof Wojdon here...
    http://www.voidon.republika.pl/virtualdub/ladocs301/logoaway.html

we can remove the TV logos but what I'm wanting is remove a logo from an specified range

    Like 15 minutes, 22 seconds and 10 frames to 15 minutes, 23 seconds and 20 frames (25 frames/second)

In the page (the To Do section) Mr. Wojdon state something related that.
    http://www.voidon.republika.pl/virtualdub/ladocs301/logoaway.html#todo

Well, I'm brazilian and Mr. Wojdon seems to be polish and recently the TV stations from my country is putting parental marks like his TV stations. You know and I wanna remove them.

And mainly I don't want to split the movie in several parts, remove the parental logo from the parts with it and join everything again... This would be annoying.

Anyway, VirtualDub, AviSynth and any suggestion will be welcome and if this requires the use of an advanced comercial ($) video editor, so please I would like to know.

    Thanx and my best regards...

  2. Hi-

As far as I know, you can't designate the frames it's to be used. However, if you switch to the better DeLogo filter, it allows you to specify the range of frames for its use
If the logo starts at frame 400 and is on the screen until frame 10000 we will note this as 400-10000. Now say it comes back from commerical and the logo re-appears at 13500 and stays there until 22356 when there is another commerical break. Note this as well and keep going until you've covered the whole video.
Now go to "video" again, choose "filters" click on Delogo (it's already applied) and where it says "on frames" we will type in the frames we want processed. In our example the logo began on frame 400 to 10000. Enter it as 400-1000, then a comma, and the next set. Our example would look like this: 400-10000,13500-22356, etc etc.

Here's a post (in German) that shows pretty amazing results using the DeLogo filter multiple times in an AviSynth script:

  3. You can use the Conditional filter in VDub to designate frames ranges to apply the logoaway filter to. In AviSynth use the Trim function to break the video into segments and assign the segments to variables, then apply the logoaway filter to the segments as needed, then reassemble.

Hmmnn... sounds interesting... Let me tell you that I don't know about the Trim function but if the Trim function break the video but it doesn't generate any files (the segments) just only the variables you mentioned.

Anyway, thanks a lot for reading my topic!!! See ya!!!
