I keep trying, but my avi's are all jumpy using WMP9. It was a while ago, but they used to be just fine. I did download VLC and then uninstall it after a try with other video. My load is 209 but I have 512 RAM, all other processes not used are killed, any ideas? Someone told me to check the configuration, but of what?
Winxp SP2, 512 RAM, Nvidia, oh and yes, I'm defragged.
thanks!

Have you tried installing the latest divx codec?

Thanks and yes, I did, but somethin's-a-goofy still.
My system also got real slow, so I think I have something on it that I shouldn't I might just reformat and see it that works.winxp - 3.06 - -
Slow all of the time or only during video playback?
If only during video playback, then you have a codec/driver issue. Go into Add/Remove Programs and remove Divx and any other codec packs listed. Reboot. Download and install the latest video drivers for your video card. Reboot. Then proceed to install Divx and any other codecs as needed.Google is your Friend
