Business with Pleasure

Hi guys,

I have a P4 2.8 2GB Ram with lots of storage that I like to edit with my Matrox RTX/Premiere PRO and use for net browsing & Gaming.

But recently, my need to work on After Effects has grown, and I am getting sick of the P4 performance when it comes to compositing and rendering.
So I might be able to get a good used xeon to achieve better performance with an AGP Bus slot for Graphics.

Can anyone tell me:
Since I'm buying a used Xeon, what should I be looking at? Whats the best specs scenario to achieve:

Great Editing/Compositing/and net browsing & Gaming. I would like this machine to mix business with pleasure and SCREAM 'gimme sum mo' 8)
