I'm trying to convert some WMV files to AVI, but for some reason the audio portion of the file shows as a slightly different length than the video portion--usually a couple seconds shorter. The WMV files play fine anyway for some reason, but after conversion the audio slowly drifts out of sync over time.
I can demux and convert the audio format just fine, but what I need is a (free) tool that will make very small adjustments to the audio speed so it matches the length of the video. Audacity only adjusts in percentages, so when I'm trying to add two seconds to 45 minutes, it isn't fine enough.
Is there another tool that would allow me to give a specific desired length, either in time or frames?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Best,
Calidore
