I've just bought a Canon Pima MP600, and bought some Datawrite 8x General Purpose Printable Surface DVD's So far I've had 10 out of 10 coasters the one thing the all have in common is there's a concentric ring around the outside of the disc that looks like it hasn't being burnt.
I use Datawrite because they burn & play 100% on my desktop & DVD Players

My DVD Recorder is a SONY: DW-Q28A - (Firm ware KYS1) I have checked and my current Firmware supports the dye on these DVD's CMC.MAG.AE1

When I do a Nero Disc Scan it stops scanning at: 85% of the disc
    Progress: 85.7%
    Position: 3824 GB
    Condition: 99% Good

My first thought is this batch is a faulty batch.

    Any other Idea's ????

If you have used these before with no problem i'd say you have a bad batch. There is a possibility your burner is going bad. But thats probably not it. Are you able to burn data dvd's with no problem. I recomend you try a program called imgburn also. It's free. I have taken nero off my computers and haven't found that i miss it for anything. Far bettter for burning then nero.

Suggest trying different media (I only recommend TY and Verbatim) to eliminate burner as suspect. Do a CD/DVDspeed discan and quality scan (if your burner allows) to check burn. I second the motion about Imgburn, never liked Nero.

Batches are thousands and thousands of discs in size. CMC is mostly nothing but "bad batches" with a pretty miserable reputation on producing good burns.

    Use better discs. www.nomorecoasters.com

    Thank's for your replies & idea's.

I choose Datawrite because they had being 100% relaible for me in the past, so natually when I was looking for a Printable DVD I choose Datawrite, I had never used Datawrite Printable DVD's before. I normal use Datawrite Titanium DVD-R's.

I've tried buring with CyberLink PowerDVD Copy and download & tried IMG Burn with no luck still get the same results, 15 out of 15 failures so far, I'm going to attempt to return them as faulty. and buy another make.

I've managed 3 pefect burn's with my normal Datawritw Titanium DVD-R's so it's not my writer.

    Thank's for your help......
