Tried them both and they wont do what i need, heres my problem, i use DVD shrink to rip a segment from a DVD, I want to edit that segment so i can cut out a section i dont want, (eg adverts on a tvshow) then i want to convert that video to play on my PSP. CLONEDVD MOBILE is great and is an all in one tool for the JOB, BUT wont allow the editing i want, However VIDEORedo has just the editor i need, but the edited output file is not recognised in CLONEDVD Mobile. SO how can i edit the original ripped DVD file frame by frame. or in other words i need a frame by frame editor that can chop out sections of the original VIDEO_TS folder contents thanks for any advice,

Funny , dvdshrink can do that in reauthormode .
Drag clip from right to left .
    Highlight the clip .
Hit the chapter button just up to the right (set start / end frames) .
Move end marker back towards front .
Click on the little button on time line .
Use left or right keys , to land on frame .
    Click button to save .

Repeat steps , building it piece by piece until done .
    Hit backup .

    No more junk .

Clonedvd mobile picks up from there .

Can't see why avidemux couldn't do that. It can open VOB's, edit and output mp4's.

dvd shrink isnt as accurate, for what i need to do, the method you suggest doenst go frame by frame, it moves it 15 frames at time, and im afraid im a bit of a newbie and cant get the hang of avidemux, thanks for tryin though, does anyone know of a prog that wil just simply edit frame by frame and save it in the same format
