you can change what it says... I presume this is not meant to be like this... maybe it is I don't know but I change mine by deleting it and rewriting to Genious...

I don't really understand the member status bit... is it meant to go up by the amount of posts you make? That or not I don't think your meant to be able to change it yourself!

IIRC it used to be after a certain number of posts it became editable. I don't know if it's still that way or not.

  5. You're a genious, figure it out yourself. :P

I believe it used to be fifty posts before you could change it yourself but I guess that must have changed. A lot of forums use that for member status and rankings but on this forum it's meaningless unless it's the text is light blue which would indicate a mod.

  7. BTW, it's spelled Genius.

I never point out spelling mistakes but that was too hard to pass up.

Hey Baldrick, how come your status line is barely distinguishable from anyone elses? Shouldn't it be written in lights or something or would that conflict with your natural modesty?

  12. I tried to change mine to £12, but it didn't work. Then I tried "Administrator", but that didn't work either. But when I changed it to Yes, it was ok.

Baldrick's status line is dark blue. To differentiate him from us lowly Mods in just blue. But it's hard to tell with some backgrounds.

As a Mod you get some bonuses, like a 24/7 work schedule and no pay. It's like my present job.

I can't remember a date, but it was part of a major overhaul that included the removal of post count from the member status area and the "hiding" of the reported posts. Seems that things were getting a bit out of hand at that time.
