    how do you change aspect ratio of a video using an avs script.

    Do you want to re-encode it ? If so, it is simply a metter of resizing the video correctly.

    If you are talking about changing the aspect ratio flags in the video itself, then avisynth is the wrong tool.

    For mpeg-2 video, use Restream. For mpeg4 based avi files (Divx/Xvid) try mpeg4modifer.

    Note : not all codecs using the avi container use or honor the AR flags, and not all players read them correctly or at all.
