Been using SVCD2DVD for over a year and d/l all updates but it seems to have gotten a lot slower since the last time i used it.
I converted 3x 50 minute .avi TV episodes with just a simple menu and it took over 17 hours to complete.
Also a Divx movie is taking me around 4 hours from start to disc burn.
Im sure it used to be a lot quicker
Can someone please advise me of the best settings to make it run faster please.
Thanks

Only took just over 100 minutes for this 698mb .avi but people tell me they can do the same size in under 60 minutes.

It has nothing to do with file size, it has all to do with the length (duration) of the file. Your file was 01:24:48.2 in length and your conversion time was about the same - a little longer than typical, but nothing really supporting your 4 hour divx conversion claim. The log starts at 12:44 and ends at 14:10 for the conversion and 14:21 for the finished DVD folders. That's roughly 1.5 hours for a 1.5 hour file.

Thansk for your help. -
Right, think i may now inderstand why it was taking ages before i re-installed.
I had 2 pass encoding checked and appy pulldown, when i hover over both of these settings it tells me that it adds time to the converstion process.
A single .avi is now taking under 2 hours. -
It still should not have taken nearly that long. It's a shame we can't see the log file.
