Hi everyone.
I'm trying to find an easy way to create a video DVD from multiple AVI files as seperate titles using a Mac with Toast, ffmpegx and other freeware tools.
- I don't want to use Toast or iMovie for the video encoding.
- I only want to encode and mux each AVI file once.
- A menu isn't necessary but would be a nice touch.
Has anybody done this before?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Since you are asking a Mac question, it would get more answers in our Mac Forum. Moving You.

The easiest thing to do is just place the AVIs in the Toast Video window. Hopefully you are using Toast 7 or 8. You can set up a simple menu or tell Toast you want no menu. You may need the A52Codec if your AVIs have AC-3 audio. When you click the burn button or choose Save as Disc Image the MPEG encoding and DVD authoring all get done.
