I have noticed, that when i watch example YouTube videos, sound often (not always) crackles (static noise). Haven't noticed same effect with other type of videos, just flash videos. I got latest flash player. Any idea what is causing this?
Other specs: Win XP SP2, Audigy ES soundcard.

Thread: Flash audio problem

The generally over-compressed, low quality of YouTube flash videos ?
Good quality videos also. Problem is not video related.
It seems that audio crackles only when i'm downloading files with BitComet. I'm downloading files to different drive where OS is.
No, it's normal SATA drive (where i'm dl files).
What if you just do a normal HTTP download ?
Or open a large file from that drive ?
Doesn't seem to affect. I'm not sure about this BitComet thing either or is it the actual cause.
Problem can also be in my stereos, that are connected to PC. There's a problem with second channel, it's mute most of the time. Still strange that only flash videos audio is affected. Though i'm not sure is the problem in stereos...
Anyway, sound hasn't crackled for a while now.
This crackling/static sound with YouTube videos seems only happen when i download files with BitComet.
