  1. Hello all I have a question regarding a PS3 & blu-Ray playback. Currently I am dumping blu-ray movies onto my hard drive & playing them back using Power dvd on Win xp. However a friend of mine has a PS3: would it be possible to dump those blu-ray movies onto an external hard drive & play them back in a PS3? I realize of course a PS3 uses a Linux os so I am not sure how difficult it would be for the PS3 to recognize and playback those dumped blu-ray movies. I have looked over the existing forum to try and find an answer to this query but to no avail. The other question I have is, is anyone trying to put there mp4 videos onto an external HDD & playing those back successfully on a PS3? I understand that one has to format the HDD to FAT32 & use a program if one is using Win xp to get around the 32 GB limitation. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

    Thanks In Advance,
    WF
