I have 2 different videos, of the same file format (.avi) and everything.
How do I merge them together to be one continuous video?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

VirtualDub or VD Mod would be my first choice, using 'Direct stream copy'. They have to be exactly the same and no VBR audio.
But if you are merging them to encode to a DVD, it's better not to merge them, just encode them separately and let your authoring program do it. Less chance of sync problems that way. -
First-WHY do you want to or think you need to do this? There are many things that can be easily done even when leaving them separate.
Second-"everything" covers a lot of territory (more than you might think). Posting some screenshots of Gspot scans of your files should help ensure the veracity of this claim.
Third-If they're truly pair-able, using the "Append" function in Virtualdub (along with the "DirectStreamCopy" mode to ensure same codec/no re-encoding) should do you well.
There are other options, some batch scripts, some BINARY joiners, that might do this, but they aren't anywhere near as SAFE as what I just suggested.

What I want to do is, yes burn them to DVD.
So....what would you reccommend doing?
