Hello all,

I need to download an older version of Java .. 1.3 specifically. I did a google search and I got a lot of hits .. but for stuff like Java SDK and Java JDK, etc, etc.

Admittedly, I dont know too much about Java so I am not sure if any of these are "good" links for a Win XP version of Java 1.3.

Would it be possible for anyone to provide me with a link to download Java 1.3 for Win XP?

It would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you need anything Java you should go to Sun's site, that's where you will find what you need.

Unless you are writing programs in Java, you will only need to download the JRE (Java RunTime Environment). The JRE allows you to run Java programs. The SDK is the development environment used to write Java programs.

Thanks a ton RLT.

I WAS at the Sun site but with my very limited knowledge of Java, all those extra letters through me off. I didnt realize that JRE was just the regular runtime environment (however now that I know what it stands for, the acronym makes perfect sense haha).
