    Hi all,

I am sure this will seem like an absurd question. The maximum allowable duration of a idvd 5 project cannot exceed 2 hrs apparently. Is there any way that using compression tactics or some other maneuvers probably involving dtox that the project can exceed 2 hrs, closer to 3hrs?

Again, apologies for attmepting not to play by the "rules,"

    Thanks in advance,

  2. iDVD allows up to 4 hours on a dual layer DVD with its Best Quality setting. This is possible only if you have a DL burner or can trick iDVD to think so.

I don't have a dual burner; how is it possible to trick iDvD to think I do?

I am tantalized by the prospect of such subterfuge.

    please help.

    thanks,
