    Hello

I just bought a standalone divx dvd player (JVC XVN650B) and ive been testing to see if its right for me. I was able to play a 640x360 xvid file, but unable to play a 960x528 xvid file. Is this due to the high resolution? I cannot find any information regarding this in the manual. Thanks for the help.

Probably because of the high resolution. Anything above 720x576 might cause problems.

But just wait for dvd release of Heroes instead of downloading warez. Or watch it at http://www.nbc.com/Video/rewind/full_episodes/heroes.shtml , may not work in Canada though.

i'm shopping for one myself, looked at a phillips last week

it was 'Ultra dviX 'certified. $69 at best buy, almost bought it but i don't like best buy, i've had too many issues with them, if you want to return something %^&*( re-stocking charge )
