    hi to you all,

juat wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to Classfour, you solved the problem.

Once i bought the component cables and then put them into the back of the DVDPlayer, i could once again select the "HOME MENU" on the dvd player and see the menu come up again.

Does anyone know if this is a bug with the software or not?

To view the menu without component cables, i had to reset it back to interlaced and then i could select and see the "HOME MENU" on the lcd tv screen with the standar rca cables, red, white and yellow.

But i will leave the component cables in because, apparently get better quality pictures when watching DVD's. Is this also for the TV or just watching DVD's? Just curious.

    thanks again

    cheers kev[/b]

kbm, in the future, just add to your existing thread instead of starting a new one about the same topic.
