hi guys i have a issue i converted an xvid from 23.976 to 29.970 with no audio using vdub. then i took the extracted audio from the 23.976 xvid and ran it through besweet with the ntsc 23.976 ->29.970 and made another wav file with that preset then i went back to vdub to make the the final xvid so the audio and video match but when i check it in vlc player the audio for the person voice is out of pitch and sounds funny can i use goldwave to fix this

Why would you convert a perfectly good 23.976 fps avi file to 29.970 fps ?

Anyway, look for pitch shift in Goldwave. If it doesn't have this (and I'd be surprised) use audacity.
