    Hi All:

I am working on my files in Sorenson Squeeze 4.5 and have found after compressing, my files are still pixelated!

I am working on .movs, 720x480, so I don't see why they are so pixelated.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

When you say that they're "still pixelated," that would seem to imply that the source file is already pixelated (which I assume you are referring to macroblock artifacts). If that's really what you meant, then Squeeze can hardly be expected to de-block magically. Lost information is lost information, and certainly recompression won't help.

Now if you didn't quite mean "still", and your source files are actually ok, then macroblock artifacts can result from insufficient data rate. You didn't provide much information in your post, so all we can do is shoot in the dark. In any case, crank up the bitrate and see if things improve.
