i've ripped (yes from a copy that I own) m2ts files from a movie. In order to play on my external HDD, i have to split the m2ts files. Here's the thing... I tried file splitter 1.31, but the problem i had with that is, with the 10 files it split, 3 of them worked while the other 7 said "data not support" or "data corrupted" I know there's a special splitter for this type of format. Can anyone help?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

you know that helped a lot, but one file came up corrupt (out of all 10)... All other 9 parts played fine even with 5.1 audio on my PS3!!!
i'm going to change the file size split and see if that helps. thank you! -

What method are you using now. I'm just getting into backing up my Bluray to HDD and just tried HDBDSplitGUI and it seemed to work but I don't get any video when I play the file back. Anyway after finding a howto about how to backup to HDD and have the PS3 play the files back I can't see a cheaper way to do this. 500GB HDD for $100, that's 20 movies at 25GB per movie, that's $5 per movie. Even disc will take a while to get that cheap. Can you think of a better way???
