Hi all,
I've d'loaded a movie (in ISO format) without realising that english subs are not available.
I have located the english .srt via "open subtitles" I converted them to .sub & they do play (out of sync) in my VCL player.
My ? is I would like to burn to DVD so I can play on my stand alone player... is there anyway I can do this... & if not can I at least sync them in to watch on my computer???
I would appreciate any suggestions/advice etc...
Thanks in advance

ISO is not a movie format, it is a disc image format.
You need to either extract or mount the ISO to see the content, then tell us what you have (is it a DVD, an AVI file etc ?) and we can tell you how to fix it.
Adjusting subs can be done easily through Subtitle Workshop, especially if they are .srt subs.
I mounted it with Power ISO & it is DVD format (VIDEO_TS)
I feel kinda silly cause I new it was a DVD
Now what should I do?
Thanks in advance

Only I suggest to use Muxman for reauthoring.
Thanks for the Links Abond I shall give it a go... Muxman sounds like a good little tool - I must admit I have found DVD Lab Pro a little daunting.
Don't be too suprised to hear from me again soon after all I am a newbie at all this stuff
Thanks for your help so far guys
It's very appreciated

Before you get cracking on the project , make sure its in a format your intended player can handle , first .
Nstc or pal , if your lucky , your intended player may handle both , thats the problem when it comes to downloading things , you can never be certain of the goods .
I must admit I have 2 players (cheap brands) & after downloading more than 300 movies - Not one problem (lucky I guess) 8)
Still haven't got crackin' w my project, I'm still working on making room on my hardrive.
Probably start tomorrow - hopefully!
Anyway, I'm sure I'll be posting for some assistance...
Either way I'll let you all know how I went
Thanks for all your advice so far
