    hi,

Just downloaded a movie and converted avi to dvd using convertxtodvd. Then burnt this to dvd using nero. The film plays only on my pc but is very slow ie looks about half the speed is should be and looking at the surfacxe of the dvd it is only about a third used.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi thanks for the reply. Very new to all this so please bear with me. The files I'm copying across have been converted into my video_ts folder from an AVI file (717,606K file). How do I find out more information on this?

I'm using DivXtoDVD not convertXtoDVD. The version is 0.5.2.99.

Reg GPSOT, do I just open one of the VOB files into it? What details am I looking for from GSPOT?

Apologies for the lack of information.

    Thanks.

ps just created another coaster! The disc (Titanium 4.7GB DVD-R) now seems to play ok on my laptop and pc although won't play on the dvd player connected to my tv.

    I'm using DivXtoDVD
That is an old and unreliable app.

Try the demo of ConvertX and see if you fare better.
