Im in the process of totally switching to linux, and one of my last hurdles is backing up my dvds. Now I installed dvd::rip and have ripped the main movie to my HD, but as my media center is capable of playing dvd's from iso's, i was wondering if there was either.

    1) A way to rip the full dvd straight to an iso
    or
    2) A way to take the main movie that i ripped using dvd::rip and make that into an iso

K3B will burn to ISO. As long as you have a proper DVD structure, it should be fine. You might also look at k9copy to rip your DVDs for your rip to ISO process. It will rip straight to ISO.
