    My vid is Xvid avi with hardcoded subs from I dont know what language
    How do I remove it?

    please use our search function, search for remove subtitles. virtualdub with the delogo filter is one method.

    Does it (or any other method) work (well)? No. The remnants will be more distracting then the subtitles themselves.
