  2. The version 1.0.0 should be released somewhen in 2007, I don't have more precise estimations. However I will release a version 0.0.9y soon, with some useful updates.

Any word on the progress of 0.0.9y? I'm really curious as to what 'useful updates' are.

  5. Hello, sorry for the late reply. I have had almost no time lately, but I'm going to resume development and hoping to release a 1.0.0 version in 2007 still. I'll also release quickly a 0.0.9y version with some improvements and better Leopard compatibility.

    pretty please AppleTV presets also.

Major, what about the possibility of downmixing DTS or DD to Dolby Pro Logic II like HandBrake does - this would be a great addition for getting some 5.1 sound out of AppleTV's with official MP4 files.

    Please consider it.

    Thanks,

    Randy

    Major,

Any news on that 0.0.9y release as I have dv file of my 1yr olds first birthday that I need to convert and store onto disk but 0.0.9x doesn't seem to work under leopard. Soooo, looking forward to the new build.

    Regards,

    r3v,
in the meantime while your waiting, have you tried either using
iMovie, or another app such as Toast 8, VisualHub, iSquint, etc
to get your file to disc?

i know you want to be able to do it in ffmpegx, but Major's pretty
busy ( as he's said twice)....and one of the other apps mentioned
will get the job done for you while your waiting.....
    just a thought.....

Hey, just to say that I love ffmpeg, it's very useful; and I thank all the ffmpeg team for their work and encourage them for the next update!
ps: no news about ffmpeg 0.0.9y version?
