i can get this cam for $500 AUD

its a 3ccd, but its still dvd, and the hard drive is only 8gigs

whats your thoughts on it??? please keep in mind its retail over here is $1500 AUD, so im saving $1000 AUD

I'm pretty sure it's not a 3CCD camera actually... It's a single chip with 3.3 megapixels.
If you can get it for $500 that ain't bad!

It's strange about how the lower model has a 30 gig HDD when this only has 8. This one has a larger CCD though so it's probably going to look better. I'd probably recommend this to people who like the advantages of HDD recording but need to send copies out quickly by using the DVD drive. Otherwise it would also be handy for people who don't like computers but like video.
