turn pbc off on my philip MX5100VR

Can someone help me turn off pbc in my philips MX5100VR.
also why that all vcd or svcd i make with nero has that problem. when i put in any DVd it tels me pbc on. how can solve that problem in nero

You don't really want to turn this off. I believe PBC is what allows you to have chapters (technically these are called "entry points" in VCD/SVCD) on VCC/SVCD. When you see "PBC on", it's a display issue typical of Philips players and has nothing to do with Nero. Eventually it goes away a few seconds after the VCD/SVCD starts. If you really can't live with it, you could try to make a version 1.1 VCD, but you'll need a tool like VCDEasy, not Nero, for that. Maybe Nero has a setting to create a version 1.1 VCD, but I don't know where that would be. You should look at the differences between VCD version 1.1 and 2.0 here on this website in the link What Is VCD (http://www.videohelp.com/vcd) before you do this. I'm not sure if PBC can be turned off in SVCD or not.
