    I have a Sony DVP-NC600. Out of the blue, it quits playing store bought dvds. But it still plays burned ones. Whats the deal with that? I spent a hour going over the manual, with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

    Had the same symptoms on my previous DVD player. Didn't matter much, as I usually just play the backup, but not long thereafter, it decided to only played CDs. Time for a new player.
