Got myself a PVR 3000 yesterday and it works ok, great quality, except one little thing... i cant get the sound to work correct.
I found out after 6hours of reading, re-installing and even more reading that the sound is actually there... only extremly low.
I was able to start with louder sound if i checked this box

and i also had to started with Winamp running in the background. BUT, if i did that i also got a delay on almost 1 second on the joypad while playing on any system.

As you can see on the picture iam running a inbuilt soundcard (VIA, yea i know) - so, i would like to know if anyone else have the same experience or if you are 100% certain that its all a question of getting a PCI-soundcard? I'm currently using latest driver/software from leadtek.com.tw

All tips and trix are welcome, thanks.

Hi, firstly sorry for my English but I have learnt only 6 mounths . I bought PVR 2000 and I have exactly the same problem as you. During recording or even watching using preview hardware encoding I haven't any sound. I think this is problem in WinFast PVR 2 program because when I use WinFast PVR - hardware encoding is ok (but this interface is so-so). I find also another problem. When I schedule recording and then try to hibernate or stand-by machine - it doesn't work . Do you have similar problem ?
