    Howdy,
I'm color blind. Or, rather, color deficient, which means that although I can see colors, I'm fairly confident that there are some I can't see or distinguish very well from others. This being so, I'm wondering if buying a color corrector would be worthwhile for me. Would there be an improvement by means of an "auto" setting? Is there such a thing? Or do I need to get a brother or sister who isn't color blind to help me out? I assume that color correction is often done by eye? If so, I don't suppose I could do it? Or, could I just adjust until I find a sweet spot? Any thoughts you could share?

I think most have an auto setting...at least my software does. But it sometimes leaves the video over or under saturated. You may have to ask someone what it looks like...rather subjective method, granted.
Perhaps posting a screenshot here at VH periodically in your workflow would solve this genetic problem.
