CCE Stalls at 32 percent

I've have been trying to process a DVD using DVD2SVCD. I've had very successful results. However, this particular DVD always stops during CCE at 32%. There is no error, it acts like it is "working" but it never processes past that point.

I've stripped the DVD a few times but I get the same result everytime.

Any ideas?

don't rip the last chapter or last two chapters (credits or chp which is only a few seconds)
