    Hey all

    I used DVD decrypter to rip the dvd to one VOB using the IFO function. I then tried using FairUse and AutoGK but im not geting any audio on my pc.

    but when i burnt it to a dvd.. you could hear the track but there was loads of fuzzy crap over the top so its really painful to listen to.

    whats going on? what can i do?

    thanks for help

    peace out

    Ed

    Hi,

    first copy the dvd to your hard drive.
    Copy the the following notes in notepad and save like MERGE.BAT
    Take all the vobs from the dvd, this is only an example.
    Run the BAT program in the folder where the vobs are.
    You have now 1 VOB called MERGE.VOB
    Open this ALL.VOB in VideoRedoo and make a quickstream fix,sellect audio to mpeg,(dvd is ac3) you will see the video-audio synchr. is perfect.

    Peter,Belgium (sorry for my engl.)

    @ECHO off

    copy VTS_01_1.vob /B + VTS_02_1.vob /B MERGE.VOB
    EXIT

    @ECHO off

    copy VTS_01_1.vob /B + VTS_02_1.vob /B MERGE.VOB
    EXIT
    However as you only have one VOB, I'm not sure what, if any, use this will be.

    Open the VOB in the latest g-spot (now 2.70) and have a look at the content. It might help to know what audio your source has. Also, what settings are you using in AutoGK for the audio ?

    Yeah, weird. Mpg2Cut2 allows you to demux it. The AC3 is very low in volume.

    For a test, copy a VOB into the same folder as the script below and run fix.bat
    The resulting .MPG file should be louder.
