So do you fill out those surveys? Online or mail-in?

I do on occasion. usually just the internet ones.

In fact I recently completed a radio survey where you could rate the current songs they were playing. Pretty slick layout too.

Yep, both online and mail-in. I just posted one for www.posten.se (swedish postal service).

I generally ream the survey taker verbally if they call. We are on every Do Not Call list in creation.

I destroy mail surveys, trash email surveys, block popups so I see fewer online surveys.

Why - because there are few skilled survey writers, and many survey writers who make obvious choices of the wording of their questions to force a desired result.

I don't play in "rigged" games.

It is amazing the news coverage surveys and polls get given the fact that the number of people who will not participate grows each day. What is even worse is the product and business decisions that are made on the basis of such flawed surveys.

Did a Arbitron 1 week radio survey recently.

Not to hard as the same thing plays at the same time every day. Clock Radio, Car radio, Work radio.

    I'm with oldandintheway.

In the past when I did bother with them, I usually ended up abandoning them when questions about my personal habits seemed more relevant than the product being surveyed. Don't you love questions like: Do you beat your wife more than once a day?
    Usually long gone and forgotten

Once a day is enough if you do it right.

Just kidding. Relax, I don't beat my wife everyday.

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

I only respond to online surveys about the products I care about.
