    I would really appreciate any help, guys. Thanks, in advance.

    Here is the info on the failed transfer:

    FFmpeg version CVS, Copyright (c) 2000-2004 Fabrice Bellard
    Mac OSX universal build for ffmpegX
    libavutil version: 49.0.0
    libavcodec version: 51.9.0
    libavformat version: 50.4.0

    Seems that stream 1 comes from film source: 1000.00 (1000/1) -> 30.00 (30/1)
    Input #0, asf, from '/Users/MacUser/Desktop/[NoDRM]-MarquardtListerUFN8_1500.wmv':
    Duration: 00:19:17.1, start: 3.065000, bitrate: 1589 kb/s
    Stream #0.0: Audio: wmav2, 44100 Hz, stereo, 48 kb/s
    Stream #0.1, 30.00 fps(r): Video: WMVA / 0x41564D57, 640x480
    Output #0, mov, to '/Users/MacUser/Desktop/Nate vs. Lister.mov':
    Stream #0.0, 30.00 fps(c): Video: mpeg4, yuv420p, 1104x624, q=2-9, 4745 kb/s
    Stream #0.1: Audio: aac, 48000 Hz, stereo, 96 kb/s
    Stream mapping:
    Stream #0.1 -> #0.0 [sync #0.0]
    Stream #0.0 -> #0.1 [sync #0.1]
    Unsupported codec (id=0) for input stream #0.1

    This is Windows Media 9 video codec (WMV3) which is not yet supported by ffmpegX.

    If you absolutely need to convert this file and if you have *a lot* of extra disk space, you can first use the mplayer binary included in MplayerOSX rc1 via the terminal to convert the file to YUV4MPEG, then convert this raw file to mov using ffmpegX.
    But please note that YUV4MPEG files are even larger than DV stream (something like 8 MB/s -> about 10 GB for 20 min.).

    If quality is not a priority, you can simply use the Export Wizard of the latest version of VLC.

    Thank you for the reply. I will just pass on this conversion as it's not a high priority, but it's good to know what I'll need to do in the future.

    Thanks a lot.
