  1. Hi.


    I have a media disc full of data and it's got a crack half way through disc, i've tried
    opening disc the most commen ways, even trying to copy disc to disc. no luck.

    Is there any other method i could try?

    Here is what I would do. REMEMBER, THIS IS WHAT I WOULD TRY.
    Make sure that the crack is lined up and the surfaces feel smooth at the crack.
    Put a label on the disk to help stabalize it. Never thought I'd ever recommend
    a label.
    Use polish on the crack to help fill it in.
    Buff off any excess polish
    put the disk in the drive and open dvddecryptor.
    set read and write speed to 1X
    set to ignore errors
    create an iso of your data disk
    go to bed
    hope and pray
