Looking to buy a DVD player with a slot load, plus some other features

I'm looking to get a DVD player with a slot load like in the Nintendo Wii or on many car stereos. I'm sure you probably know what slot load means, but I just wanted to clarify. No tray, you feed the discs to the players and it reads them.

The following things are what I need out of it

Less than $150 price tag, preferably a little less than $100
Optical audio out (fiber optic)
Component and s-video output
DTS capability
Region free (PAL to NTSC conversion, I live in R1 but I want to buy Lost Highway, Santa Sangre, and Paperhouse and some other movies that are out in PAL regions)
mp3 player
photo viewer

These are things I might want out of it but aren't essential

HD upconverting

Anybody got a player recommendation? Am I asking for way too much for the price? My friend bought a really nice high end DVD player last year for 200 bucks with all the features I was talking about except the slot load.

I have such a animal, a LG slot loading DVD player with HDMI and numerous other features, a
LG DF9921P.
The only drawback was using inkjet printables that had a slippery surface, solved that using TDK printables which have a rougher texture.

Not important, i label my burnies with a marker like an animal or something I guess.

You're in Australia, is that player sold in the US?

For $200 I would recommend the Oppo 971. Although it isn't a slot load, it covers everything else on your list.
