Really having problems getting this set up on my PC. Using a USB connection. Every time the PC starts it asks me to install the drivers etc. The imaging drivers seem to go ok, but then it says new hardware:

    Sony Digital Imaging Audio

and then when I try to install this off the discthat came with it, I get:

The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for windows 95 or later. Contact your hardware vendor.

Im running windows XP, and tried everything I can think of. Any ideas? Im desperate!

PS. My camcorder is DCR-HC23E, and my audio chipset is on my motherboard and its a Realtek ac97.

  6. You may be missing the file wdma_usb.inf - it should be in C:\WINDOWS\inf which is (usually) a hidden directory.
