    I brought this dvd player to Liberia 2 years ago and it played all DVD videos until a power failure, after which only one DVD now plays. All of the DVDs state region 1, and I've tried to play them as region 1, 0, 2, 3, 4, and 5 - none work. After the player tries to load, it states no disc. Besides ordering a new DVD player, what can I do?

    I expect the player is corrupted/damaged. If you can find the firmware, you could try flashing the firmware.
