Hey guys & gals;
Happy upcoming new year to everyone. I hope you all got what ya wanted from santa this year.
I'm a year older now and 'grey-matter' is settin' in.
My question is: How do I format a DVD+RW Disk? with what software do I use OR which software is recommended?
I've burn't many regular DVD's but want to try some re-writables that santa brought me.
Thanks for the opportunity to post.
Dave
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

I don't think you need to format, just use away.

If you need to format some options are:
Nero Burning Rom
Imgburn

When you buy DVD+RW Disks, are they pre-formatted? I just looked at the packaging and it doesn't specify.
Thanks again for your comments and posts.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to format.
I think you just make sure you burn as 'multi-session' or whatever (make sure you don't finalize the disc) and that's it. Right ? -
RW media only needs to be formatted if copying and pasting to disc like copying and pasting to floppy discs. This involves packet writing availabe in Nero and Roxio, but packet writing is often unreliable.
