I'm transferring VHS tapes to DVD, and would like to know how I can set up chapters. Also is it not possible to edit the commercials whilst transferring? How do you transfer two videos to DVD?
For some strange reason we aren't getting the time displayed, is this normal?
Thanks for any help as I am pretty much a novice.
Cheers

If your recorder has a HDD you should be able to edit in chapter points. If it doesn't, and your transfer is straight 1:1 real time, you're out of luck.
Putting in chapter points requires that you do "non-linear editing", which means after the fact. The only other thing you could do is get a capture card for your PC, capture the VHS material, then edit>author>burn, adding the chapter points.
