I am getting near the end of the video editing part of DVDs for my father in law of his 3 daughters life. We compiled all the old footage into seperate dvds focussing on each of the girls.
I now need to add music to it and as they go for nearly an hour I need some good songs!
Can anyone throw up some emotional songs or songs that just go well with this sort of video?
You know ones like 'time of your life' by Greenday but that is so overused I probably wont use it.
I will take any age group as some oldies are often goodies.
Some songs ive found that go well so far are:
Dont you forget about me - simple minds
blister in the sun - violent femmes
everlong/my hero - foo fighters
Any suggestions would be appreciated as I need a few!

Alot depends on the tempo of the video and it is difficult to fill 3 minutes of video to kind of match a tuneIS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT?
Those Were the Days my Friend - Mary Hopkins
Long May You Run - Neil Young
Walkin' on Sunshine - Katrina and the Waves"Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa
Songs with no or minimal lyrics are good too - more like background music rather than complimenting the video.
