ffdshow video decoder not working

First let me say Hi, I'm new here.

I've been having problems with the ffdshow video decoder. Before today everything was working fine, but now this decoder isn't working.

Every time I play a video, the brightness is dark. I went through ffdshow and GPU configuration. I found out it was because ffdshow video does not automatically opens when I play a video, while ffdshow audio opens up fine. Any way of making ffdshow video to open up when I play videos? I went through the configuration and could not find anything about it.

Have you installed any new players or codecs lately? Sounds like it is not opening because it is no longer being used. You could try unintalling and reinstalling.
